At Altra Marine, we offer a wide range of services for afloat steel repairs and fabrication. With a large pool of skilled and certified steel welders, we have the capability to carry our extensive steelwork repairs whilst afloat and within a short duration at IPL & OPL. - Searose G: Renewal of damaged side shell plating and internals at Immingham Port, UK.
- Ievoli Splendor:Renewal of damaged side shell plating and internals at Immingham Port, UK.
- MT Seeb:Renewal of main deck insert plate (duplex steel) @ OPL
- Pacific Harmoney:Renewal of port and starboard chain locker Nipah anchorage(OPL).
All our steel fitters, welders and supervisors possess valid seaman books which enable them to travel and sail along with the vessel to carry out steel renewal work during any sea voyage. Repairs range from installation of bilge tank, steel renewal in water ballast tanks and general outfitting works.
We have successfully fabricated 17 units of bilge tank for Bergessen Vessel, out of which, 7 were successfully installed in the engine room along with piping during sea voyage. With an emphasis on time and quality, we can assure you that repairs will be carried out to the best quality achievable at a shortest duration possible.
